size of tree and planting position

  1. I have been given a baby monkey tree puzzle for my birthday. It is about 2ft 6in tall and in a pot. I understand that these trees can grow 70 ft tall. What is the minimum distance that it is advisable to plant them from the house please. The soil is sandy loam but generally rather poor and could be on a mound if they can grow fairly near the house.

How long would it take to reach full size and how wide would it grow? Would it block the view from the windows if too near?

See this thread to get an idea of the height and breadth of monkey puzzle trees.
