Santos rosewood?

    I've been trying to find out exactly what is the scientific name for this rosewood - Santos Rosewood. I've found out it is from South America and is used for making instruments. Is "Santos" Rosewood just a common (local) name or is there an actual species called Santos Rosewood - with a proper scientific name?
