Roadside : Arugula ?

    By the riverside, opposite London Farm, in Richmond.
    Found this one, flowers looking like Arugula in shape,
    white instead of creamy yellow. Could this be Arugula ?

    Garden Rocket (Eruca vesicaria). Edible - makes good pesto.

    Is it same as Eruca sativa ?

    Depends on which book you read! As far as I can tell, Eruca vesicaria is the wild plant, and E. sativa the food crop plant derived from it. Kew treat it as a synomym: World Checklist of Vascular Plants

    Good ! vericaria for wild, sativa for grown.
