    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone might know what this plant is? I'm trying to find instructions on how to care for it as the purple shoots look like they might flop over at any moment.

    Thanks,
    Kernie

Looks like a Salvia, possibly Salvia nemorosa

Wow, that was a quick reply. Thank you very much! I have searched for and located the name that you mentioned and it does indeed look like what I have. I think I found what I needed as far as care!

"Remove faded flowers to encourage repeat blooming, or simply cut back hard after flowering is finished. "

    Thanks again,
