As far as I can tell, I've removed the half-dozen or so Amazon links that were peppered around the forums (and particularly the Citrus Books resources).
Was there an embarrassment of riches from the commissions? ;) Seriously, what is the reason for doing this?
Two reasons - one was not to advocate the use of any particular company and two was to try to keep this forum a "public space". I've thought about it, and I think I prefer a place that doesn't try to sell you anything (well, except for UBC's own books because we're proud of them!)
