Red tree in February

    Just saw this beautiful tree with red cherry-like balls dangling from the branches in the middle of February in zone 6 and am dying to identify it. Does anybody recognize it? Thanks.

    Can you get some larger, closer-up (and better lit!) pics? Can't tell with these whether a Cotoneaster or a Hawthorn.
