Red/purple flowers. Need ID.

    I thought these might be bleeding hearts, but they are definately not.
    What are they?

    Fuchsia magellanica. Native to southernmost South America; the hardiest species of Fuchsia.

    There are many similar fuchsias, I am not convinced it is clear this one is a Magellan fuchsia specifically.

    Yes, it would be hard to be more specific as I have found during a 10 minute Google session.
