red iris?

A few weeks ago I had a dream of a red flower and so I tried looking though google to find out what it was
it looks pretty much like this
But the name on it was red iris
But when I typed in google to find more pics of it, they dont look the same
Can anyone help?

Are these related to the lily?

 

They are not related to the Lilies at all. Only when you go back up to taxonomic Class, do the different family trees converge.
