    Ron - thank you for your response - faster than the speed of light. I thought Acanth, Scroph, but this family is new to me. Thanks again.

    Torenia "Duchess blue and white" and Torenia fournieri are sold on the west coast in Zone 9. Both are treated as annuals so likely could be grown elsewhere. The cultivar is sometimes treated as a short-lived perennial.
