I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about plants.

Last year my wife and I planted several plants around our yard. This year a purple plant that we didn't plant began growing in our garden. We're not sure if it's just some random plant popping up or a weed that we've never seen before.

Should I pull it out or just let it grow?

You might try a comparison to Lysimachia ciliata 'Firecracker', which tends to spread loosely.

I just googled "Lysimachia ciliata" and it looks like what I have.

    Thanks for the help.
