This small flower was common during October in the Crabtree Falls area along the Blue Ridge in October. What is it?
I figured it was SOME kind of Aster but that is a large group. The flowers were small. Any idea of species?
If the heads are on the small side that may narrow it down to a small set of species for the area, look at regional guides to see.
