Potted garden plants in Quito, Ecuador

This was my last day in Quito, Ecuador (2800 metres above sea level on the equator). Some of the plants seen growing in pots outside buildings had me wondering (including the white Solanaceae) and I would greatly appreciate some help with id. Thanks in anticipation.
