Please identify this flower. The leaves are very fine and toothed. The portrait picture shows the leaves at the bottom of the flower. The flower looks like a lot of yellow flowers but I can't identify because none of my books have this flower and the kind of leaves it has. It was taken today beside a highway. It was by it'self. It was taken just outside Red Deer Alberta. Thanks Goose
I looked up Anthemis and it looks like a Marguerite Daisy? Am I correct? Makes me wonder if it is an Alberta wild flower or a nursery flower that just happened to get started from someones flower garden (nearest house is more then a kilometer away), as none of my 6 Alberta flower books have it. No, as far as asters and daisies go it does not look esp. like Argyranthemum frutescens. You are being sidetracked by the common name golden m.
