This tree is growing in our front yard when we took procession of the house. The tree has very good foliage but didn't bear a lot of fruits this year, only 2 fruits but I have idea what they are.

Its fruit tastes kinda like a plum. Anyone know what it is? What should I do to get it to bear more fruits next year?

Consider Gold Plum, and oriental variety.

    I'll agree on Gold Plum.

If you want it to set more fruit, it'll need a pretty severe pruning this fall. Take out any cross-branches and trim new growth back (but don't eliminate it entirely) - look out for fruit spikes. Goes without saying that you should eliminate the water-shoots. Then mulch it in good for the winter.

Could be lack of cross-pollination or pollinators being absent at flowering time.
