I photographed the plant at a home near where I live in Florida. Can someone please help me identify it?
Your photograph is of a yucca, possibly Yucca flaccida, a common species in temperate landscapes. See this link from Denmark to compare with your specimen. A very interesting page by the same Danish author discusses the differences between this species and the closely related Y. filamentosa (the two are often confused). Both are native to the southeastern US.
