someone gave this to me ,she doesnt know either what it is,i told her someone here will know for sure :)
it's a variety of oxalis. it's a bulb, so it should be watered from below so as to not drown the bulb. it'll die down for the winter and you should bring it inside and cut back on watering it over the winter...then, in the spring, start watering more frequently again. depending on what zone you are in, it may be hardy in your area. most varieties are not hardy to where i am tho.

you're welcome!! they are generally a low-light plant...they can take some direct/full light for an hour or so a day. and, yes, water droplets on the leaves will burn once the sun hits it.
