Please help indentify this plant

    This is a beautiful plant that I found in Romania. Over winter only the roots remain with many reddish seeds gathered like a small corn. I tried to bring it in US but the customs would not let me. The plant blossoms continuously from spring to late fall until it dies/dries. It has beautiful blue-violet beautiful trumpet like flowers with dark green leaves. The leaves do not have shades of green. The plant is a little hairy, but does not smell or sting. It grows well in indirect sun light with moist soil. The US agricultural custom officer told me it is a Coleus but I have doubts. Please help. I would like to know its name and where can I find it in US or Canada. I put a few photos here:
