Verbena - long blooming perennials for the garden, some are hardy others are tender and may be better treated like annuals. They do well in hot climates, love sun. As we can see from the photo, they are very popular with butterflies. When I grew Verbena bonariensis (a very different form than the verbena in your photo), I found the plant was often covered with several types of butterflies.
