This is a very pretty grass that is growing in the pasture along with the beautiful netted pawpaw that saltcedar identified for me earlier. It is over five feet tall and recently formed the seed heads.
Thanks for the reply. It certainly looks like it might be Schizachyrium scoparium. I appreciate your help. I really want to know the name of every plant in our pasture. I can't believe there are so many plants in one place that I have never seen. Thanks again.
