Please help ID this plant

    Writing from North Carolina mountains. This plant appeared first in my garden last year but did not bloom. I liked the form of the plant and left it. This year it is flowering.

    Thanks paion. I think you are right. I found some images and it surely looks the same. It doesn't have a minty smell, but it could be because it is now blooming.
