Plant with very small green leaves

    Hi,

    Could you please help me identifying this plant?

    It was collected yesterday?

    It grows in clumps on hills located in the center of Tunisia.
    It has very small green leaves.

    Reminds me somewhat of Calluna vulgaris.

    Edit: But yep, it's not.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Calluna gender was not mentioned in "the flora of Tunisia 2010."

    Any ideas?

    In-curved, scale-like leaves and whatever those whitish protuberances are do not fit Calluna. Nor do the twigs.
