In The Garden: plant identification

    This plant is growing in patches in my lawn. It has furry leaves and stems. I think it flowers, but we mow it so I don't remember what they look like.

    Good morning, did I do something wrong in my post or does no one recognize this plant? Just wondering because it seems my post is the only one that hasn't had any replies :confused:

    People are quick to answer if they know. Best I can guess is something in the Asteraceae or sunflower family.

    And you didn't do anything wrong, but usually it's the flowers that help identify a plant. Maybe you'd want to leave one plant unmowed and post photos when it flowers, assuming it doesn't require two plants. I don't think Asteraceae behave that way.
