I bought this plant a number of years ago with an Aquilegia label on it but it looks nothing like any aquilegia I have ever seen. It has bamboo like stems of about 6ft. I'd be delighted if someone could identify it since I have searched every plant book I come across. Thank you.
Leycesteria formosa, Himalayan honeysuckle. If you google it you will find lots of information about it.
