Plant ID please

    Hi. I was going to take some pictures of our apple tree blossoms when these caught my eye. I have no clue what they are. For a moment I thought they were cherry blossoms but I'm not sure.

    I think it is a double Impatiens balsamina.

    The leaves seem a better match for this. I did think Rose family, but then I thought (mistakenly, it would seem) that I was seeing opposite leaves.
    Common name: dwarf flowering almond. Here's a cultivar, Prunus glandulosa 'Sinensis'
