In The Garden: Plant ID Please. BC Native Plant?

    This plant has popped up unexpectedly in my native plant garden and I wonder if it piggy-backed with one of my known plantings. It's not Japanese anemone. Your thoughts are appreciated.

    Not sure the vein pattern etc. is just right but maybe it's a weedy bellflower, such as Campanula trachelium.

    Thanks RonB. I do have an invasive bellflower in my yard but it has narrower waxy leaves. This looks like the beginnings of a large plant.

    Maybe let it go until you've got flowers? Then you can decide whether to keep it or compost it.
