Plant Found (Vancouver Island)

    Vancouver Island, Canada
    Just wondering if anyone knows what this plant is..its doesnt have bark like a tree, its kind of liquidy inside like a weed...Im around Qualicum Beach, and found it behind the house, its almost as tall as the house, and its the only one around...I've never seen it around the island either...can anyone help me?!
