The following was received via email:

I am trying to find a way to identify the type of tree I have growing as seedlings. I picked up the cones in Argentina but the Arboretum there says it is not native but looks like a Picea. The cone in these pictures is wrong, it is really a small ball a little smaller than a golf ball. My mistake. The pictures of the adult tree and bark is the one in Argentina in Patagonia. I would be grateful for any leads. Thanks,

A cypress (Cupressus) of some sort.

Agreed with Cupressus of some sort, perhaps C. arizonica var. glabra (very commonly cultivated around the world).

The four long thin cones look like Pinus strobus (hard to be sure though because of the blurring).
