Photographs taken today, May 21 2016 in Vancouver BC. Plant is approximately 3 feet tall and wide. No flowers or buds showing yet. Any leads on what it is would be appreciated. Growing alongside Hostas and under Rhododendrons.

Looks like lovage, Levisticum officinale. Does it have a strong smell similar to celery?

Ditto to Lovage. Excellent herb for soups, pesto, etc.
