I am hoping someone could help in identifying a fungi that's growing at ground level and looks like over-cooked pasta, in large clumps and is growing on soil from multi-purpose bags we purchased, that have been pierced underneath and placed down and climbing plants are being grown successful. The only downfall is cat’s number 2! However, I am not 100% convinced this is the problem. I would like to identify this strange fungi and find a solution to it. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. J
Your description sounds like Dodder a parasitic vine. http://www.coopext.colostate.edu/TRA/dodderphotos.html HTH Chris
