In The Garden: Pachypodium Lameri seeds?

    These have appeared on last seasons flower spikes that occured some 9 moths ago.
    They appear to look like seeds but are nothing like what Pachypodium Lameri seeds should look like. Any one got any ideas or have seen this before. I have three 15 year to 20 year old plants and all 3 have these on them. Also we have never had seed of these before.l

    As I said these are off last seasons flower spikes as we are just in the last week of winter here. they appear to be seed pods but to go to seed some 9 months after polunation seems abit to human to me.

    Could they be the new season's buds starting to swell?

    They usually produce new flower spikes, these are last years spikes that did not fall off over winter.
