P. arundinacea ?

    Wondering what this type of grass is, I'm thinking something in Phalaris. They grow in my backyard in very wet areas (not a cultivated var. that was planted there on purpose). They grow up to 6'-7' with a fluffy (not straight cylindrical) flowering inflorences. Thanks.

    Hmm, what do ya mean Ron B? The full plants are dead from last years season, these ones I'm growing inside are from a few rhizomes I took, these are the 'largest' I have right now, unless the ones going outside are larger (although it's only be about 1ft tall at most). Is there a specific part you need to see (such as the leaf splitting off from stem)?
