Any ideas on this tree? None of them seem to enjoy growing straight! haha. The second one didn't do well over the harsh winter we had, but this is the only one out of the bunch that survived. It has waxy leaves. The third one I thought was dead but it's coming back :) It's small, about 2-3 feet high. Anyone know what these are? thanks!
it's been raining so I haven't got a picture of the tree. For #2, I don't know if it's that... I looked at photos on the internet and it grows a lot larger than what I have, and the leaves look different, especially texture. Mine ressembles a sage plant a lot, except without the fuzzy leaves and won't grow any taller than a foot. Is the internet wrong?
2. Agree with Lila, Pittosporum tobira Variegatum. Sadly your plant looks seriously ill, possibly terminal, it has dead branches and brown leaves. Variegated shrubs are never as vigorous as the plain green ones. Try cutting it back to a healthy part, it will regrow from there, but will be slow. http://www.pendernursery.com/Catalog/Detail/pittosporumtobiravariegata.html
Great! thanks for the reassurance :) It's already starting to get better, but yes, it does look ill, I'll cut off whatever I can. cheers to everyone who helped :)
