This year I have noticed that there are a number of plants without petals but with what appear to be multiple stamens. The plants are about 18" (45cm) high with leaves alternate. They are tough to pull out and seem to be on an underground spreading root system. I have attached a couple of photos. The plant is posed in the middle of the lawn to make its features more evident. It did not grow there. The focus is not perfect, but hopefully close enough... Can anyone help, please. Richard
I have a few similiar plants that sprouted while I was on vacation and can't recognize them at all..........do these pictures look like your plant???
