I used to be fairly good at identifying ninebarks (Physocarpus) but I guess my confidence is shaken. I have two different photos of two different species, both of which I think are ninebarks, but I'm hoping to get confirmation. The first has ordinary green leaves. Why do you think they are different species? The yellowish-leaved one could be one of a couple cultivars of the species: Colourful Ninebarks via Canadian Gardening.
