I have no idea what this plant is, can anyone help me? It was already established in a garden in New Orelans, It is bush like, and only blooms at night. The scent is so sickly sweet, kind of gingery smelling. I thought it was a honeysuckle..... but I don't think it is. Any help would be appreciated.

The cestrum nocturnum is called 'night blooming jasmine' locally, although it is really a jessamine. It is often suggested that, if you sleep with your windows open, you don't plant this guy anywhere near the house due to the overwheming sweet scent.
