    Hi everyone!

I am new here. I am afraid I don't know anything about plants and such, but I would like to start learning so I can teach my children what is in our yard. I've been searching online all afternoon trying to figure out what this tree is, but came up with nothing.

Could someone here please help id it for me?

    Thank you in advance.

In Britain a sure way to tell Clerodendrum is to crush a leaf. UGH! Once smelt never forgotten. Does this appy to all species? Praps CreativeWAHM would be kind enough to try it and let me know.

That's it! Wow! Thank you so much... those are the flowers too... I forgot about those and they bring a lot of bees to my front yard. LOL I'm still in my night clothes, so I'll have to crush a smelly leaf a little later, if that's okay. *grinning*

I'll probably have a few more questions over the summer. I truly appreciate your time and kindness in solving my plant mystery!

    Sincerely,
    Melissa
