    Hi, this is my first post,can someone tell me what these berries are? I have more pics if you need.A frien said that the berries were edible but I wouldnt eat them befor I id them.

    Looks like an Elaeagnus umbellata to me...

    I was also thinking Elaeagnus, but not sure. The berries of both are edible.

    The two plants are similar except the seed is a light color on the autumn olive vs the buffaloberrys dark seed.The shapes are different to.
