    Hola,

Last fall I took a trip to Albuquerque & Santa Fe. In my album I have photos of these plants, but don't know what they are. Can someone help me identify them? The yellow flower was on a plant about 2.5 ft. tall, 3 ft. across, with many, dark, thick, wide leaves. The 'cauliflower-looking shrub' must be native to the area, as it is seen all over the place!

    Muchas gracias!
    Deborah

First one could be Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Rabbitbrush.
