    Hello,
Having just moved into a new house and garden and not being able to identify the following plant I thought the members might be able to help.
The location is in Lincolnshire, England and is in a full sun and dry corner.
The plant stands approx. 5 foot high, 3 main stalks then spreading into quite thick foliage.
The flowers were 2-3 inches long, a slender trumpet shape, pale mauve, lots of flowers in August and September but have now gone.
I attach a photo showing leaf shape and a spiky seed pod ? the spikes are not sharp but feel rubbery.
I confess my gardening ignorance as this will be a first garden.
    Thanks for any help
    Don Dickson

Many thanks. I have now read of some of the plants properties and I think it will have to go before the grandchildren find it.
