I visited in Belize this spring and have photos of plants I can't identify. I'm hoping to get both common names and botanical names, if I can. The pink flowers in first and the orange flowers in the third are actually flowering trees. The middle is on a small plant. Thank you!
Lorax may be able to help with local South or central American names, Otherwise use Google. http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/member.php?find=lastposter&t=73964
I only know the common names for the last two. Costus (and that's Costus pulverulentus in the photo) is Caña Agria. Erythrina is normally called Ceibo, but sometimes also Cresto de Gallo (and there are regional differences. I can only speak for northern South America).
