We recently purchased a house with some stunning landscaping. Only one problem, beyond the roses, clematis, and ivy I have no clue what most of it is or how to care for it. I live on the north Sunshine Coast of BC to give you an idea of where these plants are thriving.

Wow! I think I actually know a couple of these.
Top, L-R unknown, Corylus avellana 'Contorta', Paeonia (Suffruticosa?)
    Next, Bergenia, Rhododendron?,
Next, Picea Abies?, Digitalis purpurea, Magnolia?(maybe not)
    Next, Viburnum Davidii, Chamaecyparis pisifera?,
    Next, Vinca?, unknown, deciduous Azalea

Funny seedpod is Trumpet Creeper Campsis radicans.

And I second the Vinca minor.

Oops, my bad. Jimmy's right about the wisteria. Campsis has opposite leaves and a large calyx that's persistant on the seed pod.

    Picea abies cultivar, probably 'Reflexa'
    Digitalis purpurea
Hibiscus syriacus w/grape (Vitis) or relation behind
    Viburnum davidii
Chamaecyparis pisifera filifera cultivar, possibly 'Sungold'
    Vinca minor
