Need help to identify the following....

    The closeup was taken in Southern Alberta (July,2004) and the other one was taken near Kelowna (August, 2004). The flowers are very small -- I didn't even notice the plant had flowers until I looked at the photos. Any ideas?

    I believe it is woolly plantain. Latin name plantago patagonica.

    Checking photo's on Cal Photos would indicate that you are right!
