These plants have been lurking on my hard drive for a while now and defy my attempts at identification, even though some are quite common. All ar efrom Saskatchewan, 1-4 east of Prince Albert and #5 at Madge Lake. # 5 is clearly a mint, but I cannot find this type of inflourescence in any book. #1 was on the shore of the saskatchewan River. #2 looks like a sage, but not at all sure. # 3 is a weed, but what? #4 was taken late September so I'm not sure there is enough plant left to identify. Any help much appreciated.

    #5 might be a Monarda

#4 is something in the Asteraceae. At late September though... well, it could be a few things in the family. Solidago? Aster?

#5 is almost certainly something in the mint family.
