Can anyone tell me what the name of this plant is? It's growing in southern Michigan and has the berries right now and is about 6 feet tall. Don't know if it flowers or not. Someone said it might be winterberry, but these berries grow in clusters, unlike pictures I've seen of winterberry bushes. Thanks!

It's not Winterberry (Ilex verticillata) because Winterberry lacks the stalks holding the berries to the stem that I see in the photo.

I can't zoom in closely enough to the berry clusters but it could Viburnum prunifolium. It's not a Prunus or Amelanchier because fruit for both ripens in June and July.

Now that I can see the flower remenant on the bottom of the fruit, I'm pretty sure it's Red Chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia)
