    Hello and Good morning!

I am searching the web for an ID to these beautiful blue and white flowers (see attached picture). I owned a set of these about 8 years ago, just randomly from a store near where I lived in Japan, before I was more of a plant enthusiast and really desired to know more about each plant. (I get so tired my plants dying because I haven't known how to take care of them. )

Anyway, it's now shown up in a friend's photo from Australia... and I 'm wondering if it's anything y'all recognize? I am specifically talking about the blue and white flowers in this photo. From what I remember, it acted like an annual, dying at the end of its season and never coming back. Thank you and God bless!

Florist's cineraria (the blue plant pictured) is now correctly Pericallis x hybrida (a hybrid of two Canary Islands natives). See this Wikipedia entry. Cineraria is related genus of plants restricted to southern Africa.
