I was given this, as a pot of earth, about 6 months ago. It recently grew this large leaf, another one is forming, but I have no idea what it is. I think it's an indoor plant, although here in sunny France it can grow outdoors during the summer months, but must be brought in before the colder weather sets in. Any help on an ID most appreciated.
It's a Calla Lilly, a bulb. I don't know if they can be grown indoors really. Put it outside in a big pot or in the ground. Lots of sun and tons of water. They're great, but not a houseplant. Let it die down in the fall and bring just the bulb inside, then repot it next year. Michael
Thanks Michael - I'll have to move it to a sunnier spot and will repot it as you recomend, the current pot is pretty small.
