I am not a real gardener but am interested in growing from the seeds on my 20 foot tree. I do not know anything about this and was confused by the terms use in "Naniamo Tree" posting. I have to wait until the seeds are there to do anything but am looking for some help. I am located in Lantzville (Naniamo)

Monkey-puzzle seeds are very susceptible to drying out (a bit like acorns but even more so); sow them in moist soil immediately they fall, or store them refrigerated (+1 to +3°C) in damp sand over the winter for spring sowing.

Yes, although it was about 8 years ago. A fellow enthusiast gave me some to start, some of which I still have.

    Cheers, LPN.
