I have just moved to a new house and have a beautiful monkey puzzle tree in the middle of the garden but I would like someone to look at the photo of it and see if they think it is healthy and whether anything needs to be done to it as some of the branches are looking a little unhealthy. Any feedback welcome. Also does anyone know how old this tree is likely to be - the house was built in 1897 Thanks

As far as I can see looks OK, though hard to be sure with the burnt-out backlighting (can you get a pic with the light shining on it?). The brown things at the top are pollen cones, they'll fall fairly soon having shed their pollen about a month ago.

Age - very hard to tell, maybe 50-70-ish??
