Recently my Monkey Puzzle tree dropped two seed cones, how do I propagate the seeds?

Liverpool, UK? I fear there won't be any viable seeds in a cone falling at this time of year - viable seeds (which are plump and heavy) fall in late August-September in Britain. When I've seen seeds fall at this time of year, they've been empty ones which weren't heavy enough to trigger normal cone fall and stuck in the tree for months longer.

Here's what good seeds look like:

    Good luck!

Once you've found one each viable and non-viable seeds, you'll find it's very easy to tell the difference.
