Monkey Puzzle Tree 90 years old

Discussion in 'Araucariaceae' started by Unregistered Roger and Parker, Jun 24, 2005.

  1. Hello,

We have a Monkey Puzzle Tree planted in 1915 in Aberdeen, Washington.

We recently noticed that spider mites live in the dead branches. They do not seem to bother the tree at all, but the flower garden underneath was damaged by the mites.

What should or could we spray the tree with, to inhibit spider mites and any other garden pests that might live there?

    Thanks,
    Roger and Parker
